How We Produced LED for a 5,000-Person Corporate Conference in Columbus.
Atlanta Pro AV is headquartered in West Midtown, Atlanta, but our work does not stop at the perimeter. Corporate clients across Georgia and the broader Southeast hire us because the production quality they need does not always exist in their market, and because we have the inventory, the crew, and the logistics infrastructure to show up anywhere and perform at the same level we would in our own backyard.
This project is a good example of that.
A Fortune 100 company held its annual conference at a major arena in Columbus, Georgia. More than 5,000 employees attended over multiple days. The production design called for something well outside the standard corporate conference playbook, and our team was brought in to handle the LED scope.

The Design Challenge: In-the-Round at Arena Scale
Most corporate conference staging follows a familiar pattern. Screen behind the presenter, audience facing forward, sightlines optimized for one direction. It works, and there is a reason it is the default.
This show broke the mold. We placed the performance surface at the center of the arena floor, and the audience surrounded it on all sides. No single front‑of‑house position. No primary sightline. Just thousands of attendees were expecting the same high‑quality experience no matter where they sat.
For corporate event production at this scale, that layout demands a different LED strategy. We flew multiple video walls at varied heights and positions to give the entire seating bowl consistent coverage. We locked in every detail—panel count, pixel pitch, trim height, and viewing angles—during pre‑production. By the time our crew reached Columbus, the engineering was complete and ready to run.

The Hardware: Theatrixx xVision Nomad 2.6mm
The panels on this project were the Theatrixx xVision Nomad 2.6mm, which is the primary fine-pitch LED product in our Atlanta inventory. The 2.6mm pixel pitch delivers sharp, clean images at the viewing distances typical of arena corporate events, and the Nomad’s TPEP construction, a titanium and polymer edge protection system, makes it genuinely durable in the kind of demanding load-in and load-out environments that multi-day arena shows produce. It is a panel built for rental applications, which matters when you are moving gear across the state and setting it up in someone else’s building.
Fiber Distribution: Moving Video Signal Across a Large Venue
You can see spec sheets and our current inventory of Theatrixx panels on our LED wall services page, and browse available configurations in our LED rental inventory.
One of the more interesting technical problems on this project was signal distribution. Getting video data to multiple walls positioned around a large arena through traditional copper infrastructure means heavy cable runs, significant labor, and real limits on how far you can push the signal cleanly.
We engineered a fiber-based distribution system for this show, routing the signal through strands smaller than a pencil lead across the full footprint of the building with no degradation. It was the first time we deployed in-house fiber distribution at this scale, and it performed exactly as designed. It is now a standard part of how we approach large-venue corporate event production, whether we are working in Atlanta or traveling to another market.
Pre-Show QC: What Happens Before the Truck Leaves Atlanta
Every LED cabinet on this project was individually inspected and pixel-tested at our Atlanta warehouse before load-in. With large-format LED, a clean show day is almost entirely a function of what your team does in the days before it. Problems caught at the shop stay at the shop. Problems missed at the shop become problems on a ladder at two in the morning.
Atlanta Pro AV owns and maintains its LED inventory in-house. That means our team is handling the gear from the moment it leaves our facility to the moment it comes back. No third-party rental middleman, no mystery about what condition the panels are in.
What This Project Says About Regional Corporate Event Production
The Southeast hosts plenty of corporate events, but few production companies can handle the technical demands. Atlanta Pro AV has produced conferences, general sessions, and large‑format events since 2008. We travel across Georgia and the region. We bring the same crew standards, the same equipment quality, and the same preparation every time.
If you are planning a corporate conference or large-format event in Atlanta, Columbus, Savannah, or anywhere across the Southeast and need a production partner with genuine LED capability, we would like to hear from you.
